MAKROLON SN Sheet is the standard
MAKROLON sign grade. Offered in clear or sign white, MAKROLON
SN is an excellent choice for most sign applications. MAKROLON
SN is easily fabricated and decorated using industry standard
methods. In addition, SN is warranted for five years against
breakage.
MAKROLON SN is
an excellent choice in formed or flat signage, including signs
decorated with premium vinyl graphics. MAKROLON SN offers 30
times the impact strength of acrylic, and 10 times that of
impact modified acrylic. When compared to acrylic, MAKROLON SN
offers superior formability without cold weather embrittlement.

MAKROLON sheet is virtually
unbreakable with 30 times the impact strength of acrylic and
approximately 10 times that of impact modified acrylic.
MAKROLON
polycarbonate sheet products satisfy major building
code requirements for a CC-1 rating in construction applications
(BOCA, ICBO, SBCCI). MAKROLON is approved for Consumer Product
Safety Commission (CPSC 16CFR 1201) Categories I & II
and ANSI Z97.1-1984 Safety Glazing Standards. MAKROLON sheet
products are listed with Underwriters Laboratories for the
UL flammability standard and the UL972 standard for burglary
resistant glazing materials. Additionally,
MAKROLON is listed with Underwriters Laboratories for
the UL48 standard for component sign accessories in rigid
sign face systems.
