Features and Benefits of Pipe Grade HDPE

Pipe grade HDPE is a lot more versatile than standard HDPE sheet thanks to its higher molecular weight. This leads to improved performance on a variety of characteristics in piping applications. Because pipe grade HDPE sheet is typically used outdoors, it has improved UV stabilization to extend its lifespan in the sun. Pipe HDPE can be used comfortably in applications between -220 degrees Fahrenheit to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also resistant to most chemicals and is NSF certified under standard 61 to be safely used in potable water piping systems.
