Features and Benefits of HDPE Smooth Sheet

Smooth HDPE is the most common type of HDPE sheet as it is extremely versatile and stable, perfect for most applications. Other types of HDPE sheeting such as matte HDPE or pipe grade HDPE have certain improved characteristics, but have similar properties as smooth HDPE. The biggest benefit to using HDPE sheeting is its excellent impact resistance.

Smooth HDPE is FDA approved for food conduct suitability, although matte HDPE is the most common plastic used for cutting boards. This type of HDPE plastic is commonly used for packaging, food processing, conveying equipment, and more.
